Vamos a la playa, oh, oh, oh...Let's go to the beach

Estoy tan entusiasmada con la entrada que hoy traigo a mi blog! Mis días de playa no llegarán hasta julio pero yo ya llevo preparándome para ellos durante semanas. Hoy he visto la nueva colección de playa de H&M (ellos la llaman 'Picninc con estilo') y me ha encantado! Trae 4 colecciones diferente que yo he definido así:

1. Arpillería o sacos de café: porque parece estar inspirada en los sacos de tela de arpillería que se utilizan para almacenar los granos de café.
2. Marinera: porque parece sacada de una barca azul sobre la que se han hecho con pintura blaca inscripciones a mano.
3. Blanco y negro: no me parecen colores muy veraniegos pero combinados con las colecciones 1 y 4 quedan genial!
4. Multicolor: para un buen tratamiento de cromoterapia playera.

I'm so excited with my post today! I'm not going to the beach until July but I'm already getting organised for my summer days in Spain! Today I saw the new H&M collection for the beach (that they called 'Picnic in style') and I'm loving it! They bring 4 different collections that I describe this way:

1. Coffee sacs: because it seems to be inspired by the classic fabric sacs to store coffee grains.
2. Navy: it reminds me to piece of a blue boat written in white paint letters.
   
3. Black and white: I don't think they are actually very summery colours but they match perfectly with the collections 1 and 4.
4. Multicolour: to get a good cromotherapy treatment on the beach.

El apartamento ha sido decorado en blanco y tonos oscuros y marengos, y salpicado de color con piezas de arte de gran formato. En este impresionante apartamento conviven en perfecta armonía el diseño comtemporáneo con mobiliario clásico y antigüedades.

This week I'm having a crush on this stunning penthouse in Barcelona that I found in Elle Decó España magazine. This apartment has been decorated in white and elegant dark greys, and colourful touches with huge pieces of art o n the walls. Contemporary design and classic antiques live together in this amazing apartment.

Por eso el número de mayo de la revista Interiores nos trae este reportaje sobre complementos de hogar floreados y con un precioso aire vintage. Es mi reportaje favorito este mes. Veo por toda la página los diseños de Zara Home, Sia, Cath Kidston, y todas mis tiendas favoritas. Y no importa el color o el diseño, flores con flores pegan perfectamente. La naturaleza es sabia.

Hola amigos! Cómo fue el fin de semana? Aquí no paró de llover, pero tengo que admitir que me encantan los fines de semana con lluvía. Puedes estar en casa probando un nueva receta, viendo una estupenda película con palomitas bajo la manta o intentando ese projecto creativo que tenías en mente desde hacía meses pero nunca había tiempo para ponerse. Hoy es lunes y no importa si llueve o hace sol, hay que salir de casa e ir a trabajar. Yo ya estoy contando los días que quedan para el fin de siguiente... hmmm... aun 5 días, creo... Bueno, mejor comenzar con un buen desayuno ¿no? Nos vemos en ChicDecó.

Hello my friends! How was your weekend? Here it was pouring with rain, but I have to admit that I love rainy weekends! You can stay at home tasting a new recipe, or watching a good movie under the blanket with popcorn, or trying that creative DIY project that you had in mind since months but never had time to start. Today it's Monday and it doesn't matters whether it's raining, you have to get out and go to work. I'm already counting down the days left to the next weekend... hmmm... still 5 days to go, I'm afraid... Well, I think I should start my week with a nice breadfast, don't you think? Cajita de meriendaNibbles box

Me encanta esta idea de la revista Sweet Paul: una caja de merienda hecha con una caja de bolas de Navidad. Un poquito de queso por aquí, unos trocitos de fruta por allá, unos frutos secos, unos palitos de pan, lo que quieras... La idea queda genial! El lunes me prepararé una para llevar a la oficina, todo comida sana eso sí!

I love this practical idea from the Sweet Paul magazine: a nibbles box made with a Christmas decoration box. A little bit of cheese, some fruit, some nuts, some crackers, and voilá! A great idea to have some snacks in the office! I'll made myself one for Monday!

La casa de la semanaThe house of the week

Bueno, ya es oficial! En España tenemos la mejor revista de decoración del Mundo! Se llama MiCasa y es la revista del efecto 'Guauuu!!!' llena de hogares sencillos pero perfectamente decorados, que demuestran que el estilo no es cuestión de lujo. Esta semana nos deleitan con este precioso apartamente reformado, proyectado por Mario Ramos. Decorado en blanco y con notas de color, es totalmente mi estilo de decoración. Me gusta tantísimo! Aquí podréis ver el reportaje completo o el plano de la vivienda.

It's now official! The best decoration magazine in the world comes from Spain and it's called MiCasa (MyHouse). It's the magazine with the WoW-WoW-WoW. It's full of simple but gorgeous appartments and familiar houses, without too many luxuries but a lot of style. This week they bring a fabulous renovated apartment, designed by Mario Ramos and decorated in white y colourful touches. It's definetely my decoration style. I absolutely love it! Escapada al campoPretty camping escape

Bueno, os cuento que, tal y como había comentado la semana pasada en mi blog, fui de acampada al campo. Pero por mucho que intenté que mi acampada se pareciera a la de estas páginas de la revista de mayo de Cath Kidston, debo admitir que fue un poco menos bucólica de lo que yo me había imaginado. El fin de semana transcurrió más o menos así:

Día 1 - Llegada al camping; montamos la tienda e inmediatamente comenzó a llover sin parar durante horas. Cuando dejó de llover era había ya anochecido, y todo estaba embarrado y encharcado.

Día 2 - Por la mañana salió el sol y yo tenía unas ganas locas de cocinar en el fuego un desayuno delicioso, pero había alerta de incendio y no nos permitieron hacer fuego. Pese a que habíamos planeado estar allí 3 día, sin fuego y con lluvia, decidimos volver a casa el segundo día.

Bueno, lo intentaremos otra vez a ver si la próxima conseguimos que nuestra acampada se parezca más a la de este reportaje.

As I had commented in one of my posts last week, I went camping in the weekend. But although I really tried very hard that my camping looked like this lovely camping photo shoot in the May issue of Cath Kidston magazine, I have to admit that it was a little bit less confortable that what I initially thought it would be. The weekend was more or less like this:

Day 1 - Arrived to the camping; put the tent up and suddenly started to rain. It was pouring with rain for hours. When stopped it was already dark and everything was muddy.

Day 2 - The next morning was sunny and I was dying to cook a delicious breakfast in an open fire, but there were fire bands and we were not allowed to start a fire. Although we had planned 3 days in the camping, without fire but with rain, we decided to come back home after a cold breakfast in the second day.

Well, we will try again next time, and maybe we can get a lovely camping weekend that looks like to the one in Cath Kidston magazine.
