Queridos amigos, para mí hoy se acabó la cuenta atrás y ya estoy por fin de vacaciones!!! Parecía que no iban a llegar nunca, pero se acabó la espera, se acabó tachar días del calendario, por fín llegaron las vacaciones!!!

Volveré dentro de muy poquito, con fotos e ideas tomadas de mis vacaciones. Mientras y tanto, seguíd escribiéndome. Que paséis unos días de verano estupendo, estéis o no de vacactiones también.

The Swedish company Gudrum Sjödén has a gorgeous colection of home textiles that meets all of the requirements! They came with the idea of making colorful home textiles with natural materials in a functional and versatil Scandinavian design. The multicolored stripped designs are their favorites.

Vivir en Notting Hill en una apartamento (en realidad dos apartamentos convertidos en una única vivienda) es el sueño glamuroso de muchos de nosotros. Ahí es donde se encuentra esta vivienda de estilo ecléctico publicada esta semana en la revista Elle Deco España. Pertenece a una ejecutiva de la compañía de moda Sisley y para mí ha sido amor a primera vista.

Había visto un pedacito de esta casa en el libro de Holly Becker, Decorate, y ahora esta casa y yo nos hemos vuelto a encontrar de nuevo.

Cosas que me encantan de esta casa:

• Sin duda la mezcla de colores pastel con intensos amarillos, rojos y azules en atrevida, pero el resultado es sensacional.
• Precioso ajedrezado del suelo del pasillo y el contraste del colorido cuadro de la pared con el blanco y negro del resto de la estancia.
• Mezcla de piezas recuperadas con elementos modernos y un estilo muy personal.

To live in Notting Hill in an apartment (actually, two apartments that put together became a single house) is the glamorous dream of most of us. There is where this eclectic house is located. It's been published in the Elle Deco España magazine this week and is owned by an Sisley executive. It's been like love at first sight.

I'd already seen a little bit of this house in Holly Becker's book, Decorate, and now this house and I have found each other again.

Things that I love about this house:

• The mix of pastels and bright colours everywhere, a risky combination with a sensational result in this house.
• Gorgeous checkered on the corridor floor and wonderful contrast with the colourful print on the wall.
• Mix of vintage furniture with modern designs and a very personal style as a result.

¿A qué en verano siempre apetece un helado? ¿A quién no le gustan los helados? ¿Cuál es tu favorito? ¿un helado tri-sabor de nata vainilla y chocolate? Quizás un polo de grosella y mango? ¿o un delicioso helado de nata y fresa? ¿o refrescante chocolate y menta? Pues por muy apetitosos que parezcan los helados de la imagen de arriba o los pastelitos de la imagen de abajo ¡cuidado! No vayas a comértelos! Porque al primer mordisco descubrirás que en realidad son JABONES!!!

Pues sí, por muy reales que parezcan, en realidad son jabones. A mí me parece una idea super-original para regalar o un complemento perfecto para decorar baños infantiles. Estos jabones son de Soapylove pero cada vez los veo más y más en otras tiendas de jabones. ¿A qué son geniales?

Don't you think that in summer or even in winter there is always room to enjoy a nice ice-cream? Everybody loves ice-creams! Which is your favourite flavor? cream, vanilla and chocolate? Orange and mango? Or maybe cream and strawberries? or mint and cholocate? Well, if you're thinking those ice-creams above or those cupcakes below must be delicious, be carefull! Don't eat them! Or you will find out that they are not really ice-creams, they are soaps!

Yes, that's right! Even if they look so real, they are actually soaps. I think it's a great gift idea or a perfect decorative element for children's bedrooms. These soaps are from Soapylove but they are becoming everyday more and more popular in the soap shops everywhere! They are great, aren't day!?

Hola amigos! Feliz lunes! Mirad lo que os traigo esta semana! Ya está online la nueva revista Mowiekay! Mowie Kay es una fotógrafo gastronónico autor del popular blog Mowielicious. Mowie llevaba ya unas semanas anunciando el lanzamiento de su revista en su blog. La semana pasada por fin salío online! Tengo que decir que me esperar una revista genial, pero esta ha superado todas mis expectativas! Wow, wow, wow!!!

Hello my friends! Happy Monday! Look what I bring this week! The first issue of Mowiekay magazine! Moview Kay is a food photographer and editor of the popular blog Mowielicous. Mowie had been talking about his new maganize in his blog for the last few weeks. The magazine went eventually online last week! I have to admit that I had very high expectations, but after reading this weekend the magazine, all I can say now is wow, wow, wow!!!
